Youth

‘Youth’ is a word of great worth. Each alphabet of this word has a deep meaning embedded in itself.

 ‘Y’: Yearning

The desire for learning & acquiring as much knowledge as possible.
Frances Bacon said, ‘Knowledge is power’.

 ‘O’: Obedience

Without obedience there is no happiness, no order and no system.
Swami Vivekananda said, ‘Obedience is the mother of success and safety’.

 ‘U’: Usefulness

Every young man should step forward to remove the evils from the society and the nation.

 ‘T’: Truth

Always speak the truth.
Mahatma Gandhi said, ‘God is truth’.

 ‘H’: Health

The importance of health is well known to all of us —‘Health is wealth’.

Hence, the youth should strive to inculcate the true meaning of the word ‘Youth’ to carve out a bright future for themselves and their country.

Khamoshiyaa’n

CONFUSING CONFUSION!

Enormous songs and ballads,
A lot of poems and sonnets
Are written on knights and kings,
Of their braveries and flying wings,
In their palaces and rings.

Should I write about brave rats?
Who live their lives with fear of cats,
They search for bread and grains,
With immense concentration and brains,
While passing through kitchens and dirty drains.

Or should I write about the home of my dreams?
Which can be
made it seems,
A foamy spring-flowering past,
And a fruit orchard with mangoes blast,
With a scenery of greenery spread a vast.

Thinking of a subject for a poem to write
I wrote a poem itself,  all right!
confusion
